How to Play

Shift your pieces according to their unique movement rules. The Commander can only step one square at a time within the nine-pointed star. Guards are limited to diagonal moves within the palace. Bishops move exactly two squares diagonally and cannot jump over pieces. Knights move one square straight and then one square diagonally, but can be blocked by adjacent pieces. Rooks move any number of squares straight, serving as powerful attackers. Catapults move like chariots but must capture by hopping over exactly one piece. Soldiers move forward one square and gain new movement after crossing the river. Remove the opponent's general to win the game. Think ahead your moves carefully to checkmate the computer opponent.
